Has worked as a Chief Operating Officer at Essar Oil Ltd., Head-Exploration at Reliance Industries Ltd. and Chief Geophysicist at ONGC. Have managed and lead E&P activities for onshore & offshore blocks in India, Colombia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Australia, Madagascar, Indonesia, Kurdistan, Oman, Yemen, Vietnam, Australia and East Timor.

E&P division and managed seismic data acquisition activities, both onshore and offshore.

Mr. Narayan took over Essen Group in the year 1991 and setup the Challam Transport & Mining Corporation (CTMC). Also inducted “Naveen Sriram” into the business after acquiring a lease of 4000 hectares at one of the largest reserves of iron ore in the Bellary District, Karnataka. In 2000, a scrap yard was established in Jordan to cater to the growing demand of second supplied from Iraq. In 2006, setup the group’s business headquarters in UAE.
